This song is about a woman who is trapped in the mouth of a monster. She is rescued by a man, awaking from her blacked out slumber for just a moment to catch a glimpse of his face. When she finally comes to, she is alone and cannot remember her hero.... except when she is deeply afraid, like she was in the jaws of the monster. So she spends the rest of her life throwing herself recklessly into situations that terrify her, so she can catch a glimpse of his face again.
